Porcelain patios and outdoor tiling
Outdoor porcelain laid like indoor tiling: level where it should be, falling where the water needs to go.
Porcelain paving looks sharp and is easy to keep clean, but it has to be laid on a solid base with a fall, or the water sits on it. We plan the levels before the first slab goes down.
The patios in our photos include steps, raised planters faced in the same porcelain, and a retaining wall, so the garden reads as one finished space.

What the job includes
- Porcelain paving on a solid base
- A fall and drainage channel so the water runs off
- Steps and raised planters faced in porcelain
- Retaining walls finished to match
Getting the best result for the money
Most of the price is in the groundwork you never see afterwards. Cutting corners there is what makes slabs move later, so that is the one part we don't skimp on. The choice of porcelain is where you can save.

Why porcelain instead of stone?
Porcelain is dense, so it takes in very little water and is easy to keep clean. It still needs a proper base and fall.
Can you build planters and steps as well?
Yes. The planters and steps in our photos are faced in the same porcelain as the patio.
